Thanksgiving is next week...
Well, it looks like we'll be leaving this Wednesday evening for Pensacola and will come back the Sunday after Thanksgiving. I'm glad about that because I'm wanting to see our friends and family (and my kitty Snuggles!) and visit with everyone again. I think we'll go drive around west Pensacola and see if we can get around Perdido. It will be surprising, I'm sure.
I had my last interview this morning with Bank of America and I felt that it went really well. I felt confident and comfortable...so we'll see what happens. There are still a few people to be interviewed as well. They said they really wanted to have a decision made by Tuesday or Wednesday, so hopefully it will be before the holiday.
We're planning on posting some photos of our new apartment on the blog soon, so everyone can see what it looks like and (for the ladies) how it's decorated and everything. We'll try to get those up for you to enjoy.
There's a street down here called Park Ave. and it is the coolest place to go. It's downtown (historical) Winter Park and it's the rich section of town. (We even saw a brand new Rolls Royce parked on the street.) It has brick streets, all kinds of exclusive shops and cafes, like Williams Sonoma, a Pottery Barn (in an old theatre), chocolatiers, a rose garden in a park. It even has white lights everywhere as you walk down the streets. It really is an amazing place to go and walk. Very quaint and romantic. Dave and I went this past Wednesday night and walked around, and we saved half of the street to come back to. We're going to go one day and take some pictures together around there. It's nice when you discover a great romantic place like that. You can go and just enjoy being with each other and enjoy everything around you.
